2Mi was formed by Bill Mahoney in 2015. While working as a 1099 subcontractor for a Prime delivering technical services to NAVSEA, Bill was asked to form a small business to help the Prime meet contractual set aside targets.
In 2017, Bill’s wife Anne joined the company as FSO. Since that time Anne has continued to take on additional management responsibilities culminating in her acceptance of majority shareholder making 2Mi a Woman Owned Small Business.
As the years have passed, 2Mi has carefully added proven talent in multiple engineering, technical and Human Centered Design fields. Preferring to grow steadily as opposed to rapidly, we have focused on hiring people we know and trust or that come highly recommended by people we know and trust. This methodology has served us well. Our workforce is second to none!
Our mission is to provide a platform through which our workforce can thrive in their chosen field. We really do see ourselves as Facilitators helping employees pursue work life in the best possible environment. To that end, since inception we have endeavored to create a family like culture.
